One Step Closer to the Front at Vitterbo

Going into the weekend after practice in 6th place, I felt this track could be mine.

I was fast, I loved every corner, and I felt I was exactly where I belonged.

It turned into a very strong weekend, with five races finished. Saturday’s final ended in a crash while I was running my best pace of the weekend with an incredible rhythm. It was a difficult result to accept after such a promising race.

But then Sunday came.

A P4 in qualifying, followed by two strong P7 finishes, and a P10 in the final. I was a bit confused at the start of the last race and lost several positions during the first two or three laps, but I fought back hard to secure 10th place.

Overall, I’m very happy with my performance in Viterbo, Italy.

It gives me great confidence for the next round in Valencia, before heading to one of my favourite tracks of the season: Franciacorta!
