I finished 12th in the Swiss Karting Championship final at 7 Laghi on October 5, 2025.
After securing 3rd place in practice and 7th in qualifying, I had a perfect start in Race 1, climbing up to 5th place just a few laps from the end. That’s when the battery support came loose and went under the kart, lifting it off the ground. I went straight into the safety barrier quite hard, then hit a stationary kart.
My back was quite sore, but above all, I was extremely disappointed, knowing that my next two races were compromised and that I’d have to start from the back. I started 24th in the pre-final and managed to climb back to 11th, then started 17th in the final to finish 12th overall.
In the end, I feel that I controlled my race much better than at Franciacorta last time, and that I achieved my best result yet in the Swiss Championship — which is a very promising sign for what’s to come.
